FemFrame, reprogramming the technological gaze
Technology is not neutral.
Everything digital — an app, an algorithm, an artificial intelligence system — is made by people.
And we people design from what we know, from what we experience and from what we take for granted.
This means that, without wanting to, we leave out other perspectives, other bodies and other ways of doing things.
FemFrame was born to expand this perspective.
So that technology works as it should, serving more people
and return to its place of origin: people.
At FemFrame we talk about quality, creativity and criteria in the digital world from an open gender perspective .
Because there is another way to write the digital future

We are the result of many looks.
FemFrame is a project born from the El Garbell technology cooperative, a space for research, design and critical thinking about technology and digital culture, focused on Generative Artificial Intelligence.
We haven’t created anything new. FemFrame brings together years of experience from design, technology, training and social innovation professionals who have worked side by side with companies, institutions and universities.
FemFrame is, at the same time, an evolution and a synthesis:
the way to learn from everything we have experienced to look at the digital future with more awareness.
FemFrame is funded through the RETECH program within the framework of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan , with a subsidy granted within Line 3 of Order EMT/4692/2024 , intended for technology-based companies led by women.
We contribute directly to several Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations 2030 Agenda . According to the FemFrame methodology and application areas —which include technological innovation, training, equality and quality in digital design—, the main SDGs it meets are:
